In depth

Verdict

Katie Do was completing a hat-trick when landing this a year ago but only ran twice in the autumn subsequently and she's 8lb higher. Presenting Beara hasn't run since completing a double in novice company almost two years ago but Curragh Golan has a chance from bottom of the weights though he'll need to jump better than at Galway last week. Winning bumper and hurdler Sir Abbot has yet to score over fences but has gone close on occasions and, providing the ground doesn't get too testing, he can reach the frame. He ran well for a long way over 2m6f at Galway last time but AS DE PIQUE (NAP) finished in front of him and Gavin Cromwell's charge, who fell in this race last year, can return to winning ways. Thomond scored at this fixture two years ago but hasn't run since November of that year.
