Verdict

Elusive Art ran well enough when fourth to Beauty Express in the 2.25 here yesterday to suggest she can again get competitive from her lowly spot in the handicap. Gagnant has gone off the boil since scoring at Roscommon in June while Kokoro's victory at Cork was gained over 1m4f. After beating Days Ahead on soft ground at Killarney, Kims Dream has twice run reasonably well behind Prince Jock on faster going and should be suited by today's easier conditions. She's A Staker hasn't had much experience but there was plenty to like about her run behind Enjoy Your Life at Galway and further progress will see her go close in this but CLOUD FIRE gets the nod under Sam James, who was seen to very good effect on Maundy Money here on Wednesday and is excellent value for his claim. Captain Henry made a winning all-weather debut at Dundalk last month but had previously been in moderate form on turf.
