Tony Martin looks to have found an ideal opportunity for PIRES, who can revert to hurdling on a 14lb lower mark than over fences and arrives in very good heart after winning a Ballinrobe chase last month. Grange will love the heavy ground and though unraced since December he scored after an absence last season. Maxim Gorky has an even longer absence to overcome but he was looking a nice prospect when last seen in November and starts off this campaign on a fair mark. Dazzling Suzie will probably do better when sent back over fences though she's another on a lower mark over timber. Mick Hourigan has a fine record in this race so watch out for market support for Enchanted Forest.
