        Verdict

        Willie McCreery has won this twice in recent years and SELF BELIEF gained plenty of admirers when comfortably beating Paris Peacock, who won a Group 3 at Gowran on Saturday, in a Curragh maiden. Charterhouse is top-rated by virtue of his Listed victory at Killarney but the consistent Sh Boom has now had eighteen starts at stakes level without winning. Joseph O'Brien has three entries with Statement the highest-rated of the trio, a mark earned by his placed efforts at Group level in the UK. Dante's Pass, another from the yard, landed a maiden at the fixture on his debut last year and is better than he showed in a Curragh handicap in June.
