Verdict
Oyster Shell blotted his copybook here last time when refusing to race. Uriah Heep won a novices' handicap over track and trip but then fell at Doncaster and is 5lb higher today while Sands Cove is proving expensive to follow. Teenage Dream will have needed his comeback run over hurdles at Wetherby but his best form is on much faster ground than this and he's never won away from Cartmel. VIVACCIO (NAP) had Bonobo well behind when making a winning start over fences over this course and distance last month. He's been raised 10lb but that's probably justified and a follow-up is on the cards. Highway Code isn't badly treated but may be suffering from a lack of confidence at present.
