Verdict
Mount Haven was placed behind a couple of decent novices last season but is having his first run since March and will be better when tackling fences. That's also probably true of winning pointers KIT CASEY and Texas Forever but it will be a surprise if both don't have the pace to figure in a race like this. Preference is for the former, who had already mastered Ballylin when left clear by that one's fall at Askeaton a little under a year ago. Dukes Den is Flat-bred but kept on for pressure when fourth on his hurdling debut at Fontwell in November.
