Verdict
This could develop into a tactical affair and although Ashley Muck should be suited to a track where speed is all important, he looks to be one to have reservations about. The 10-year-old took a heavy fall at Newbury on his reappearance last November and ran as if saving something for himself when he was last seen out at Plumpton in December. The way he folded tamely in the closing stages would suggest his confidence may have been dented a little and he could be worth opposing today. Mark Pitman-trained Dealer's Choice has gone well here in the past and is one to consider if the market speaks in his favour. He hails from an in-form yard and he could represent some each way value. However, Native Man is two from four at the course and has improved since being fitted with a tongue-tie in his races. He is adaptable with regard to his best trip and will be suited by the conditions if there is a strong gallop.
