Points winner You Too Pet ran his best race so far under Rules when second at Taunton but Gardiners Hill has yet to show much improvement for a slide down the ratings and Midnight Folie was just starting to send out distress signals when falling at Fontwell. MIDNIGHT JADE is in good form and can record his first victory away from Southwell with stamina likely to be at a premium. Partner Tom Humphries is good value for a 3lb claim in races like this.
