In depth

Verdict

As long as the rains stay away, HENRYVILLE is an interesting runner in this. He is now 10lb lower than his last winning mark and should be all the better for a spin over hurdles on ground that was softer than ideal. Brother Tedd is also worth a market check as he’s not at all badly treated on his best form and Philip Hobbs is likely to have him ready for this. It will be a surprise if Western Miller is not in the shake-up but Gortroe Joe was let down by his jumping here last month and lacks the experience of some of these. Deauville Dancer is an infrequent winner and Tommy Silver has spurned easier opportunities while Deadly Approach is a specialist two-miler.
