In depth

Verdict

Midtech Valentine is the only one of these to have won on the track and is now back on her last winning mark. Canoodle only had two to beat at Taunton in April and is tackling better company here but Giveaway Glance found Listed company much too hot at Wetherby after beaten a short-head at Stratford. Late Night Lily has run in Listed races on her last two starts and though not getting into the action last time ran well enough to be a threat here. Maria's Benefit is progressing nicely and followed her novice victory with a handicap success at Sandown for which she's been raised 10lb. She'll make a bold bid to defy the extra though MIDNIGHT JAZZ (NAP) looks better class than these. Ben Case' mare was beaten a head by Vroum Vroum Mag in a Grade 2 at Doncaster in January and made a successful reappearance last season so fitness shouldn't be a concern.
