Another competitive affair in which most have some sort of chance. Dark Spirit makes her first appearance since winning last year's renewal off a 4lb lower mark but Queen Spud has the better recent form. She beat subsequent Uttoxeter winner Gaye Memories at Stratford in April and followed up at Fakenham. Cash For Steel has a bit to do from out of the handicap but Massannie is capable and Maypole Lass was second in a maiden here in May. MRS PEACHEY (NAP) goes well fresh and wasn't beaten far off a 5lb higher mark at Sandown in December. She was highly tried after and this looks a good opportunity to recapture the winning thread.
