In depth
Verdict
Not That Fuisse and Bletchley Castle were third and fourth behind Hogan’s Heights here last month. Green Winter beat the odds-on Dolphin Square at Huntingdon last May but the 14-year-old hasn’t raced since and Solomon Grey is making a first appearance since down the field in the Summer Plate at Market Rasen last July. Hidden Charmer is another with an absence to overcome but PONT AVEN, formerly trained by Willie Mullins, won a Mens Open at Higham last month by 30 lengths and looks a decent recruit in this sphere. The Dellercheckout won this two years ago and has won his last two between the flags so looks the danger.
