Verdict

Sir Ivan had a bit in hand when landing a jumpers' bumper at Kempton, which should have given him some confidence after two poor runs over fences there and he's only 1lb higher than his previous victory. Western Climate went up 12lb for a very easy victory at Exeter and has been unable to cope in Listed company subsequently. SONNEOFPRESENTING last ran at Cheltenham in October where he led for a long way and will find this less daunting. He reappeared with a victory last summer so obviously goes well fresh and gets the vote, though Dauphine Ereine still has plenty of time on her side having won three times over fences in France as a four-year-old. Goohar buckled down to score over the course and distance in February while Fourth Act was a bit unlucky in-running at Sandown a month ago.
