Show's Over just failed to overhaul the front-running Spock at Plumpton 10 days ago and races off the same mark here. He looks a better bet than stablemates Chakisto and Time And Again but Norse Light can't be left out of calculations having also only found one too good at Huntingdon last time. Winning hurdler QUANTUM OF SOLACE (NAP) refused to settle on his chasing bow at Huntingdon and eventually paid the price. But that was a much better race than this and he's been dropped a couple of pounds since. He certainly looks a better chasing prospect than the diminutive Osgood but Triple Chief, second in a three-runner race at Plumpton in March, still has time on his side.
