In depth

Verdict

Midnight Target is rated 6lb higher over fences but she’s been well beaten in two starts this term. Bang Bang Rosie is proving consistent but looks a little one-paced. Gold Chain was a close third off her new mark at Market Rasen after winning at Newcastle but has been raised a further pound. NO NO JULIET was staying on at Ascot after scoring at Fontwell and gives the impression she’ll cope with the extra distance on a sharp track like this. Oliver Sherwood’s mare looks the most likely winner as Perfect Summer has not had the stamina for this trip in the past.
