In depth

Verdict

ULTIMATE LIMIT has been well placed and can supplement his Taunton gains at the main expense of Milton Des Bieffes and Silly Wupple. The selection has a good record when fresh but did win back to back races at the start of last season and has been found a decent opening to do so this term as well. He's got a 10lb higher mark to overcome although connections have put up a claimer for this course and distance who faces a field of largely out of form performers. Milton Des Bieffes is, arguably, the exception as he's produced a couple of fair performances and he's been given a chance by the handicapper who has left his mark alone. Silly Wupple hasn't built on his early promise but is capable of landing a race of this nature whilst Tyup Pompey is something of a standing dish here. There are some capable performers in their grade amongst the remainder but all have questions to answer at present unlike Ultimate Limit who is hard to get away from.
