Verdict
A couple stand out in the opener though Fortunedefortunata has to be forgiven a poor effort at Southwell having won over track and trip on his earlier debut. WHIZZ KID makes more appeal as he showed the benefit of a wind operation when romping home by a distance at Catterick on only his second start over hurdles. He looks an above average recruit on that evidence and can defy a penalty. The remainder are harder to recommend though better is expected of Kellahen and Imperial Hurley while Torino makes his hurdling bow for a new yard.
