Verdict
Royal Palladium was gifted a race over a shorter trip at Lingfield earlier this month when the hot favourite blundered away his chance three out. Venetia Williams' charge has more on his plate here off a 5lb higher mark and preference is for BUDDY LOVE (NAP). Nigel Twiston-Davies' mare looked an unlucky loser on her fencing bow at Towcester but made no mistake at Leicester next time and can defy a penalty. Shinooki makes his chasing debut on a fair mark and should be thereabouts if his jumping holds up and he's preferred to top weight Fishing Bridge and Mac Le Couteau.
