In depth

Verdict

This probably isn't the strongest bumper ever staged and the experience of Bellorophon and Bobbie Boru will stand them in good stead. Carpies Boy and Shantou Tiger have only had one run and are open to improvement while newcomers Canicallyouback and Master Wickham represent yards capable of readying one at home and will have their supporters. BLUE HERON is a half-brother to a bumper winner so we'll take the chance that Dan Skelton's five-year-old will know what's required. The Kayf Tara filly Eastern Calm may be best of the rest.
