Verdict

As a winning pointer, Hometown Boy should appreciate this further step up in trip but he has been pulling too hard over hurdles so far. HURRICANE HARVEY (NAP) looked an unlucky loser at Huntingdon as he was hampered off the home turn and only beaten half-a-length at the finish. He deserves to get his head in front and it could be his turn today. Waitonit was a hot favourite in a Worcester bumper last month and should make a hurdler with a similar comment applying to Commit Or Quit. Corrany has a bit to prove now, however, after finishing tailed off at Aintree.
