Verdict

Carrigmorna King, a winner over hurdles at Newbury in January, was sent off favourite on his reappearance at Chepstow but probably needed the run. He's already won a point-to-point so the switch to fences shouldn't be a problem and Philip Hobbs' six-year-old won't be far away here. But we are going to take him on with DARE ME, a very useful sort in bumpers and over the smaller obstacles when on song and very capable of winning in this grade if his jumping proves up to scratch. Shark Hanlon sends over Rudigreen but he may lack the scope of some of these while Dream Risk's recent hurdles wins came at a lower level. Victor Echo could sneak into a place if running up to his best however.
