In depth

Verdict

LADY MYFANWY found only The General Lee too good when runner-up in one of these events over track and trip in February. She's taken to go one better as Captain Marlon was well beaten here on his return from a lengthy absence and has something to prove now. Baddam went close on his latest start under Rules at Worcester but that was back in May last year. He did make the frame in a point-to-point only last week, however, while Coin Of The Realm had looked to be running into form before failing to complete at Kempton last time. Pathian Prince has been pulled up on his last couple of starts under Rules but recent winning form between the flags suggests he may do better here.
