In depth

Verdict

Hever Road makes a quick return to the racecourse and can get back to winning ways, Miss Shakira and Good Outlook look to be the obvious dangers. Hever Road finished a well beaten third behind Finzi at Warwick last week over three and a quarter miles. He started to make mistakes towards the end of that contest, possibly due to tiredness, this drop back in trip could be just what he needs to regain winning ways. Miss Shakira is in good heart having landed two competitive races, However she may now be in the handicappers grip. Good Outlook was impressive when winning at Catterick earlier this month. The step up in distance is a slight concern, but he should still be thereabouts. Down at the bottom of the handicap Channahrlie can also get involved in the finish, but Hever Road has everything in his favour and he gets the decision.
