Verdict

LANGAFEL created a good impression when making a winning debut at Newton Abbot and looks sure to be a better hurdler than Flat performer. He handled that sharp track well and hopefully will be equally effective around another quick circuit, albeit right-handed here. Corporal Jones is the only one without Flat experience but his yard is ticking along nicely and the market should prove informative. Rakish Paddy must improve on his debut and both Subtle Innuendo and No Escape return from considerable absences having shown little form on the level. The Bravest has been out the back on both Flat starts this term but did place on two of three juvenile starts.
