In depth
Verdict
My Skipper gets a narrow vote here from Square Mile, with Thedublinpublican looking best of the rest. The well-bred My Skipper won well on his Ludlow debut and, sure to have been well schooled for his hurdling debut, looks set to be a leading player here today. Thedublinpublican won well at Uttoxeter on his British debut and, even though that was an average event and he has a penalty to carry today, has to be considered. Monsieur Delage improved on his latest bumper start when second to Lennon, while Jonjo O'Neill's Over The Blues is surely better than he showed on his Bangor debut but his stablemate, the dual bumper winner Square Mile, looks far and away the better Jackdaws Castle entry and looks a leading player today. Overall, though, we will just side with My Skipper.
