In depth

Verdict

David Pipe and Tom Scudamore have just one runner at the meeting, the lightly-raced Eur Gone West. Placed in a point-to-point, he'll be suited by the step-up in trip but has plenty of weight on what he's achieved to date. Notachance has only had two runs over timber, both over this trip on similar ground. He's a work in progress and should go well while winning point-to-pointer Tikk Tock Boom was progressing nicely in the summer and would be a threat if ready after a long break. Treasure Dillon, another winner between the flags, has finished runner-up in his last two without threatening but it's about time LOCH LINNHE was winning again. He was having just his second start since wind surgery when very nearly making all over 3m at Newcastle a week ago and if in the same kind of form would take some catching. Corinto takes a big step up in trip but Richard Johnson is hanging around to ride.
