While Hippodrome is probably better than recent results have shown we'll side with the potentially really well handicapped PRINCE AMONG MEN with Lerida fancied for a place at a bigger price. The pick drops into selling company for the first time and will be further boosted by the fact he is running off a career low mark. Obviously there is a reason why his rating is so low but having been competitive off five pounds higher three starts back in a much better race some former talent seems to remain. Hippodrome hasn't really been given a chance by the handicapper since being assessed over obstacles but now looks to be off a competitive rating as shown when solid off a mark seven pounds heavier on his last start over timber. Lerida may go off at a double figure price and if that¿s the case could be a value each-way bet with some consistent form and under one of the more capable jockeys in the field. Upright Ima was a course and distance winner in November and should go well on these terms while Moon Melody is weighted to figure. Its a tough start to the day where Prince Among Men can be crowned as king.
