In depth
Verdict
Bennachie was only beaten a couple of lengths by a subsequent winner at Perth last month so must have every chance of going better. But this looks a good opportunity for OH LAND ABLOOM, a regular here, to get back on the winning trail. He couldn't quite match the finishing speed of Aviator over 2m4f here last time but that was no disgrace and he should stay the extra today. Aviator's trainer, James Eustace, runs Wily Fox in this but he has some improving to do. Southwell fourth Mawaqeet can't be ignored but Sinbad The Sailor doesn't stand much racing nowadays and is on the downgrade while To Begin's form has deteriorated after early promise.
