In depth

Verdict

ALLBETSOFF appeared to appreciate decent ground at Southwell and a 4lb rise does not appear to be onerous on that evidence. Supposedtobe won a claimer on the Flat for Gavin Cromwell and this is a first start for Peter Bowen having picked up a selling hurdle at Uttoxeter last month. Simply Red has continued to go up the weights without winning while Saturday Song didn’t do a great deal wrong when defeated at Huntingdon in May and could appreciate the two month break that has followed those labours.
