Verdict

Sure Thing's debut third at Ludlow suggests he'll go close in this modest finale but there was just as much promise in KAYFONTAINE's run at Ffos Las in March. Very green that day, Jonjo O'Neill's mare kept on nicely once the penny dropped and will know more today. None of the others with experience have shown much so far but there are possibilities about newcomers Open Country and Antihero. The latter was an expensive yearling and has a decent Flat pedigree so could have a bit more speed than most of these.
