In depth

Verdict

Zambella has a career record of 9-22 and her three victories last winter were highlighted when landing a similar race at Doncaster but PRECIOUS ELEANOR made massive strides in her novice campaign and landed a mares' listed race at Cheltenham in April by 15 lengths from today's rival Little River Bay, though the latter lost a shoe in-running. Fantastic Lady only got as far as the first in the Topham but completed a double earlier in the year and wasn't beaten far in a Grade 2 at Kempton. Legends Ryde was another improver last winter and looked in need of last month's comeback.
