In depth
Verdict
Saratov looks to have been found a weak race for his debut over hurdles. A useful performer at his best on the flat with Mark Johnston, the four-year-old lost his way last term and has since been switched to Alan Swinbank. Although disappointing on his return it would be surprising if he was not able to make the grade in such lowly company as this. Of the others Red Sun deserves to win a race of this nature, while Sea Mark already has but carries a 6lb penalty as a result.
