In depth

Verdict

BENEFIT IN KIND was still in contention when falling at Catterick last time having won at Musselburgh before that. He gets another chance in this ahead of Over And Above, who is upped 7lb for winning at Catterick last month with Fromthetop well beaten. The latter has earlier gone close at Huntingdon but winning hurdler Trafficker was pulled-up on his chasing bow. Big George won over these fences in November but never figured off a 10lb higher mark last time behind Ergo Sum, due to run in the previous race.
