In depth

Verdict

Points winner FORTHEGREATERGOOD was third behind a subsequent winner on her debut under Rules at Uttoxeter. She’ll do better when faced with some hurdles but could outstay these. Martello Sky showed a good turn of foot to score at Fakenham and should make a bold bid to defy her penalty. Allavina was a fair third at Huntingdon and will know more today while Richard Johnson rides Shark Hanlon’s Back On The Bridle. Midnight Mary is a likely improver while Tom George’s Mosambo is an interesting newcomer being a half-sister to a three-times winner.
