Verdict
Kentucky Star had been placed on a couple of occasions including over these hurdles before falling when favourite at Wincanton. He’ll be thereabouts if staying on his feet but BYRON FLYER (NAP) is preferred. A winner without a penalty after landing a conditionals’ race at Plumpton on his handicap debut, the hat-trick beckons for Ian William’s charge having won a novice hurdle earlier. Midnight Shot is not badly weighted and posted a better effort at Chepstow last time while Vaillant Creek won a maiden hurdle at Fontwell and Athou Du Nord picked-up a seller at Fakenham on his latest start.
