    Verdict

OSCARS LEADER has only found one too good off similar marks in his last three starts. He certainly deserves a change of luck and may be more reliable than the talented Edwardstone, a faller when a hot favourite over fences at Doncaster last month. Bridget Andrews rides Crooks Peak of the two Skelton runners but Langer Dan, sixth in last year’s Fred Winter at Cheltenham, looks to hold stronger claims. Rowland Ward ran better than his final placing suggests at Cheltenham and is not out of this.
