Verdict

MOUNT SOUTH could only manage third when sent off favourite at Fontwell on his debut for Ian Williams’ yard but he’s expected to improve and Brian Hughes takes over the reins. Whodini also has his second outing for a new yard having finished fourth at Stratford and makes more appeal than The Bogmans Ball, who has his first outing since December. Captain Fantastic is a half-brother to a couple of winners over hurdles and is a newcomer to note.
