Verdict

High Jinx probably doesn’t have much scope but Tim Easterby continues to place him to good effect over timber. However, he has to concede 21lb here to Olly Murphy’s battle-hardened mare ANGEL OF HARLEM and that may prove beyond the 10-year-old. The latter will appreciate stronger handling here having been partnered by a conditional when a beaten favourite last time at Newton Abbot. Brecon Hill won a bumper under a penalty here last year and wasn’t disgraced on his hurdling debut while High Jinx’ stablemate Sheriff Garrett should be capable of better.
