Verdict
Three Mirrors is the selection with Euro American and Tomenoso the more obvious dangers in the pack. Ferdy Murphy's team are in rude form at the moment and while Three Mirrors was beaten by a 40/1 chance on his most recent outing at Musselburgh, that winner did go on to record a victory over hurdles at the weekend. A clear round should suffice. Euro American would have a serious chance on his Catterick form with Faasel. His fencing is not the greatest and the useful hurdler has had plenty of chances. Tomenoso makes a chasing debut. A brave individual, his last run at Carlisle was disappointing and it remains to be seen as to whether the switch to fencing will reawaken his enthusiasm. Ballyman is a rare Rasen runner for Jonathan Geake whilst pointer, Our Man In Bangkok has first run under rules. Three Mirrors has an obvious chance on the book and is accordingly nominated.
