In depth

Verdict

Spirit Of Adjisa undoubtedly has the best form on offer here but has been absent since winning at Bangor in June of last year and also has to shoulder a penalty in this. Tiptoeaway has been placed here and Sedgefield in his last two starts but his stable is going through a bit of a quiet spell, while Mister Chancer was pulled up last time. Something looked amiss with Alan King's charge at Huntingdon last month, however, and he's been given a few weeks to recover. Any Given Moment was a dual winner on the Flat but has shown little inclination for hurdling so the vote goes to recent course fifth COOL STRIKE. Alex Hales' five-year-old looks to be on the upgrade and was a decent middle-distance performer on the level when in the mood.
