Verdict

Witness In Court never looked in the mood at Perth last time. He is respected on previous efforts but the concession of 17lb to LITTLE STEVIE (NAP) may prove too onerous. The latter was well punted earlier in the week when a good second at Southwell and the fact he's quickly back for more with the champion jockey booked suggests connections feel he's ready to strike. Malangen found life tough on chasing debut but the four-year-old could do better now in what appears a weaker race and with the benefit of experience under his belt. Spiritual Man makes his chasing debut and Real Warrior may prove better served by this drop in trip.
