In a difficult race for punters to fathom, a chance is taken with Theatre Diva over the likes of Panthers Run, Petrovka and Autograph to name but a few. Kevin Ryan at least has his team in good trim judging by recent Flat results, so hopefully Theatre Diva will catch the winning habit as well after a string of placed efforts in Ireland. The ex-Dessie Hughes-trained mare ran well at Leopardstown in March and will definitely handle the soft ground, so it would be no surprise if she popped in first time out for her new stable. Panthers Run is another ex-Irish performer, successful in a Gowran Park bumper two years ago. He was beaten when falling on his British debut at Hexham in November and will have to improve on the bare form to warrant support here, plus he may need the run anyway. Petrovka put in a pleasing effort on his return from a break when second at Huntingdon recently. He should make a bold bid, while Autograph cannot be ruled out on his timber bow after the way that he made all here in a bumper last month. Akash may be one to consider when put into handicaps and the market should be noted for the rest, with Theatre Diva selected.
