Verdict

Gowanauthat was entered at Aintree on Friday night but runs here instead having just lost out at Fontwell last month. I'dliketheoption has been a bit disappointing since winning at Ludlow in the autumn but stepping up in trip should suit. Yorkist, on the other hand, seems better over 2m and was never getting to Days Of Heaven at Stratford a couple of weeks ago. BABY KING represents last year’s winning stable and did well to cut down previous winner Astre De La Coeur at Taunton on his chasing bow. There should be more to come and he can overcome a 7lb rise in the weights. Voix D'eau is useful on his day but appears out of sorts.
