In depth
Verdict
Prince Bere, Ever Special and Carr Hall are the three for the shortlist here and Prince Bere is taken to come out on top and continue McCoy¿s winning run. Ever Special has some respectable runs on the Flat to his credit although he is still a maiden, and ran well on his hurdling bow over the course and distance last time to be third without ever looking like winning. He will come on for the run though and looks an able recruit to the hurdling sphere. Carr Hall is making his debut here for Tim Easterby over hurdles but is another who has shown ability on the Flat, finishing a close up fourth behind Jellytot at Carlisle in a seven furlong handicap. He is sure to know his job and can run well at a nice price. Prince Bere is yet to win a race but has hurdling experience in France and can make it count. He comes from the David Pipe yard and the stable has had great success with French recruits over the years. Prince Bere can make a winning debut in this country.
