    Verdict

A bumper rounds off the card and as usual in these events the market will be all important but the principals look to be Chrysaor, Mischief Man, and Lake Gunner and the vote is given to Chrysaor. The selection hails from a yard that does well in this sphere and this Bachir gelding, half-brother to winning stayer Daryapour will not need to be anything special to male a winning debut. Mischief Man rates the main danger as he is a Alflora gelding out of five-times winning hurdler Rascally and should be closely watched in the market. Lake Gunner was a fair fifth behind Jim The Gent on his debut and is sure to improve but the suspicion is he will be seen to better effect over a longer trip in time. Of the remainder Ellerslie Lisa is related to a winning miler and is another to note in the market but for the winner we return to Chrysaor.
