Verdict
Paul Webber does well with his horses here and COPPERFACEJACK (NAP) is in such scintillating form that he's very difficult to oppose. Still only seven, he had a habit of pulling too hard in his earlier races but has been settled in front in his last two starts which he's won by a combined 22l so an 8lb rise doesn't look enough to prevent a hat-trick. Sunny Ledgend has plenty of experience and has managed to win four times over fences including on heavy going here so any further rain would greatly aid his cause. Ultimatum Du Roy loves it around here though he's better over further these days and may struggle to keep up with the selection unless the ground turns heavy. The Doorman won a Sedgefield handicap in September but jumped moderately on this track three weeks later and was well beaten.
