Verdict

Captain Bocelli made a winning debut here in May but this is a stronger contest and he now has a penalty to carry. DESERTMORE HILL also has 7lb extra but his win at Warwick in the spring may turn out to be decent form and he can make a successful reappearance ahead of Fontwell third Scorpion Princess and Nabateo, who is looking to recoup losses having started favourite at Southwell last month. The Barbury Queen is a half-sister to Thyestes Chase winner Preists Leap so will be very interesting when having some obstacles to negotiate.
