Verdict
Three for the short list here are Blue Buster, Fuel Cell and Di's Dilemma, and we take Fuel Cell to score. The selection didn't perform as well as expected at Doncaster last time, though it was strange ground that day and we can forgive him. He certainly didn't look beaten by the trip, and he acts with some cut, as evidenced by his previous run at the same track. A reproduction of that penultimate effort would probably suffice here. Blue Buster was a decent bumper performer and has already had a nice pipe opener over hurdles, when not beaten far at Kelso earlier in the month. If he can improve marginally on that effort then he will be a leading contender. Di's Dilemma handled trip and ground well when beaten by the useful Smart Boy Prince here last time and her allowance makes her a leading contender once more. It's a race where not too many look good enough to get involved, and we take Fuel Cell to score.
