In depth
Verdict
Flat winner London Prize had Generous Day well behind when opening his account over timber at Leicester and can make a race of it with BANDSMAN. Dan Skelton’s charge was a wide-margin winner over a longer trip here at the start of the month but had run well over 2m at Kempton previously so dropping down in distance shouldn’t be a problem. After 14 tries, Seven Nation Army is still a maiden over hurdles and will probably find at least one too good again while Strait Of Magellan is not really improving. Peppay Le Pugh has shown promise but may do better when going handicapping.
