In depth

Verdict

BENNY BALOO improved on his hurdling form when making a promising chasing debut at Newcastle. He’ll be sharper for that reappearance run and should go close. Le Grand Vert is more exposed over fences but may figure back at this lower level while Via Dante may well have won at Newton Abbot back in April if not for falling a couple of fences from home. Annaharvey Lad makes his chasing bow along with Artic Breeze, who debuts for Lucinda Russell.
